Grade School

At WGA we want each child to get the best gymnastics instruction that we have to offer. Our Grade School classes are separated by age and gymnastics ability. Our class sizes are small so that our experienced coaches can individualize their instruction to help each child grow and succeed in our program.

Gym Girls (5-7 years)

$96/month

This 60 minute class is for girls 5-7 years. This class is an introduction to our grade school curriculum.  Students will learn introductory skills on all four Olympic events. This class will also focus on proper technique and terminology.

Beginner Girls (7+ years)

$96/month

This 60 minute class is for girls 7 years and older who are at the beginner skill level. This class is great for students who are new to the sport, as well as students who have some gymnastics experience and wish to improve their basic skills.

Intermediate Girls (7-9 years, 10+ years)

$96/month

This 60 minute class is for girls 7 years and older who are at the intermediate skill level and have previous gymnastics experience.  Skill requirements for this class are a strong handstand, cartwheel and bridge on floor; an assisted pull over, front support and cast on bars; comfortable with walks and levers on high beam; and proper technique on the spring board on vault.

Hot Shots (Girls 8+ years)

$112/month

This is a 75 minute advanced gymnastics class by invitation. Skill requirements for this class are a back walkover and round off on floor; pullover and back hip circle on bars, strong handstand on beam, handstand flat back on mats.  Please contact the office if you would like your child evaluated for this class.

Beginner Tumbling  (Girls 7+ years)

$96/month

This is a 60 minute class for girls 7 years and older that will focus on tumbling. Students are required to have a strong cartwheel, round-off and back bend to participate in this class.

Advanced Tumbling (Girls 9+ years)

$112/month

This is a 90 minute class for girls 9 years and older that will focus on advanced tumbling. Students are required to have a strong and connected round-off back handspring to participate in this class.
